 ming college freshmen majoring in Culinary Arts or Food Sciences. Renewable
  scholarships are offered each year for full-time study at an accredited tw
 o- or four-year college or university of the student’s choice.\nThis progra
 m is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer an
 d manager of scholarships and other education support programs for corporat
 ions, foundations, associations, and individuals. Eligibility for individua
 l programs is determined at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and eligibl
 e applications are reviewed by Scholarship America’s evaluation team.\nAppl
 icants to the Goya Foods Culinary Arts Scholarship Program must meet all of
  the following criteria:\n\n - Must be entering an accredited two-year or f
 our-year institution as freshmen and majoring in a full-time Culinary Arts 
 or Food Sciences* program for the 2024-25 academic year. Students enrolling
  in a two-year junior or community college must plan to transfer to a four-
 year institution to earn a bachelor’s degree and to receive the total maxim
 um scholarship award of $20,000.\n - Be a United States citizen, a legal pe
 rmanent resident, or a student granted Deferred Action for Childhood Arriva
 ls (DACA).\n - U.S. citizens must provide a copy of their birth certificate
 , U.S. passport, certificate of citizenship or naturalization certificate.\
 n - Permanent residents must provide a copy of their current permanent resi
 dent card or a current passport stamped I-551.\n - Deferred Action for Chil
 dhood Arrivals (DACA) must provide a copy of their DACA approval letter.\n 
 - Have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or its equivale
 nt.\n - Candidates must be obtaining their first undergraduate degree.\n - 
 Applicants may also be children of a Goya employee, broker, or independent

 illing to complete 10 hours per month of community service; this activity t
