The Hispanic Association of Atlantic County (HAAC) is dedicated to empowering, advocating, and advancing the Hispanic community in Atlantic County. HAAC is honored to help students of Hispanic/Latino heritage to further pursue their educational goals with $1000 scholarships awarded to four (4) winning recipients.

 

Eligibility:

-must be of Hispanic/Latino heritage

-must be an Atlantic County Resident

-must be a high school senior

-proof of acceptance to a college, university, or trade school

-a minimum cumulative gpa of 2.5 (official high school transcript required)

-two (2) essays (refer to application)

-one (1) reference letter

 

Deadlines

Applications will be accepted from March 1, 2023, thru May 1, 2023

 

Criteria for the selection process

The Scholarship Selection Committee will review each application packet for the following:

-completeness

-academic consistency

-extra-curricular activities

-quality of essays

-reference letter

 

In order to be considered for the HAAC Scholarship, applicants must submit a complete application via our website and upload the required documents no later than May 1, 2023.
